Phase is a six-episode, self-initiated film series created with Nico Porteous as a space for creative exploration and athlete legacy beyond competition.

The project focused on process, and personal style, blending cinematic filmmaking with a lofi, documentary approach. The series captures moments of experimentation and reflection, documenting an athlete refining his craft on his own terms. Chris led the creative direction, shooting and editing each episode in close collaboration with Nico to develop a raw and intentional visual that prioritised authenticity over polish.

Supported by Red Bull, 100%, and Atomic, Phase was designed as a complete long-form body of work with social content a pleasant by-product.
